Action Method For Teams: Action Method Online is a great tool for individuals, but it's even more effective when used among a team. Here are some tips and tricks for using Action Method Online collaboratively for project management.
There are two ways to sign-up and start collaborating using Action Method Online.
You can sign your whole team up, and become account administrator. It's easy: as you're signing up, select that you want to sign up other users. Enter their names and email addresses, and each will be assigned their own Action Method Online (AMO) account. You will be responsible for payment, as well as any billing changes/cancellations/etc.
If you only wish to sign up yourself at this point, you can still get your whole team involved by delegating Action Steps and sharing References, Events, Discussions, and more, even if they don't have an account. They'll be able to collaborate with you for free and sign-up for AMO whenever they want.

Action Method Online is different from other project management tools, in that you don't share whole projects. We believe everyone organizes their projects differently, and it's most productive only to share the relevant parts of projects.
  • The notes, files, and links that inform a project. You can share a Reference with anyone with an email address, and they will be able to access and edit that Reference.
  • A way to end long email chains. You can start a Discussion with anyone - they can reply, and if you are a Premium Plan subscriber, they can even upload files to your Discussion for free. It's an easy way to work together and communicate within AMO.
  • Events are key milestones - the deadlines that you're working toward. When you invite Collaborators to an Event, you can view their Action Steps for that Event, as well as your own. So you know what everyone needs to accomplish before a certain date.
  • See what others are working on. When someone "shares" a project with you, you can go to Activity Feed and view ALL their project activity - Action Steps they create, Discussions they join, everything they do within that project.
  • An at-a-glance view of your projects, or others' projects. If someone chooses to "share" withyou, you can see every item that currently lives within their project (all their Action Steps, References, etc).
Action Method Online provides everything you need to work efficiently and collaboratively, without getting bogged down by details that do not apply to you. And everyone is clearly accountable for their own Action Steps, so nothing falls through the cracks.
