AcceptPay on Behance

Based on our promotion with AcceptPay over at the 99%, we wanted to use the system ourselves. So, we rolled out AcceptPay as an option for Teams on AMO. A new service from American Express, this is a great alternative for those of you unable to pay via our traditional credit card system. Upon request, we can invoice you for payment via eCheck or ACH.

For those of you on the vendor side, check this out as an option for online payments; although the set-up process is extensive, customer service on the sign-up side is super helpful, and the interface for the program is nicely streamlined. You can learn more here.

AMO on Speed

It's been quite a while since I've written here - probably too long. The past couple of weeks we've spent a lot of time improving the performance of Action Method Online. We are proud to say the changes are up and running smoothly. We've done things from the simply obvious (loading screen between tabs) to the outrageously maticulous (optimizing CSS). Due to these changes everything runs faster including loading time, drag-and-dropping, resizing, switching tabs, and searching. You may have also noticed we got rid of that "2.5 Seconds Remain" countdown after the site finished loading. That always was irritating to us and the optimizations let us finally remove it.

The biggest jump in speed was actually with Internet Explorer 7. We still recommend using more recently updated browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari), but if you were ever in IE7 before you will be quite pleasantly surprised now. I know that some people can't download browsers or Adobe AIR in their office.

Anywho, we hope you enjoy the upgrade. Keep the feedback coming and we'll keep

improving for you.

What's New In ActionMethod Online

You said it, and we heard it. Based on the great feedback shared by early adopters of Action Method Online (AMO), we have added a number of enhancements to the application.  The additions include the ability for you (or anyone else) to email an action step to your AMO InBox (via your own @action.me email address) as well as increased messaging features, multiple delegation, importing contacts, and more...  See all of the latest enhancements on our What's New page.

AMO - Launched At Last

Our team was thrilled to further launch Action Method Online (AMO) today. We've been working for years on developing the methodology, the products, and the concepts, design, and technology behind this service. It feels good to finally share AMO with others (beyond the beta user program).

The application received reviews today in TechCrunch, Mashable, LifeDev, and (via TechCrunch) in the Washington Post

We want to thank our friends and willing beta testers for the incredible feedback and support over the past few months as we worked to fine tune things. A special shout-out to the team at Undercurrent that fully adopted AMO in the very early days and made critical suggestions along the way. We also want to thank Seed Gives Life, Flavorpill, and friends at places like Miramax, Apple, and others that have supported Action Method from the beginning...  All along the way, we have been inspired by the many thousands of participants in the Behance Network - all of whom we also wish to thank.

We are excited to now build upon the Behance Network and Action Method. Our team believes that these two platforms can help organize the creative world to make ideas happen. It is an honor to serve as stewards of this mission.
