Gotta Love Twitter's "Search" Tool

It is interesting to "search" on Twitter for a particular product name or brand. Here's a quick example of this morning's search on Twitter for "Action Method" (below). In the new age, teams should use twitter searches to "get the pulse" of what people are saying about their products - and to learn from these searches...

Getting ready for AMO...

The Action Method Online (AMO) beta launch period has begun. The team is psyched and we invite you to read a bit about this new productivity application in the online magazine.

In the meantime, we have been busy gathering feedback, filming demos (some pictures below, taken by JB), and gradually inviting more and more people and teams to sign onto the application. We invite you to sign-up for the beta list at ActionMethod.com.

TED Thoughts #2

A few more thoughts from the annual TED Conference.

One great quote overheard from the designer of the Jawbone bluetooth headset and the OLPC $100 laptop (and he gave the quote as something he had heard before): "Advertising is the price companies pay for being unoriginal..."

Also, here's an Action Book spotted in the main hall at TED (courtesy of our friend Josh Spear's phone camera):

Action Method Tips on ABC News

Behance Founder Scott Belsky was a guest on ABC News this week, sharing tips on productivity in creative environments.  Check out the clip here.

Action Method Feedback

Great feedback from great bloggers is always a nice way to start out a Friday. Thank you to Schneiderism and J.D. Humphrey's for the shout-outs. We're thrilled to hear from creative professionals that feel more productive as a result of the method. As you may know, we originally developed the Action Method for our own work...and then we shared it with some friends...and then the word got out and it became a side business (and passion) for us.

Also, many thanks to those of you that have emailed us with suggestions and feedback, we read every single one and appreciate the support.
